Independent Study: The Dialoguist Aloud As Writing

I had already been keeping my own Walking and iPhone Mobile Productivity practices, and I knew the Writing Department encouraged the exploration of writing in all its many historical forms. I was also already, pausing on Ancient Greece—and educated in undergrad in Aristotle’s writings on Drama—keeping the idea of his Peripatetic school of Philosophy with me. There was hope with me that I could maintain my commitment to Bodily Health & Fitness. What if I now then delve into utilizing the Independent Study Model at SAIC as well-suited to supporting the idea of the Dialogic Philosopher Aloud as Writing. It’s important to validated and credit the human functions that go into this. I was convinced to drop the class on the American Short Story and take double credits with one of that semester’s Independent Study requirements. This was an excellent opportunity to delve into the mode of education at SAIC while looking into an historical example that was a relevant precedent to my personal Studio’s working mission. That semester’s worth of Dialogic Writing Aloud did meet the standards of Writing set forth by the Graduate Writing Department. All systems were go to continue.
